Tamborine Native Citrus

The Finger Lime, Australia's coolest bushfood, is growing at Tamborine Native Citrus in the Albert River Valley, about 5km north of Tamborine Village in South East Queensland. Learn more about Native Limes - Courtesy of the QBA.

An orchard of 600 trees has been developed, plus a nursery for the production of both native and dwarf citrus varieties.

The Finger Limes consist of 3 selections, named for their skin colour -

• Yellow Star
• Pink Star
• Purple Star

The fruit matures from February to April, and as far as is possible, is grown using organic principles. Finger Lime trees and fruit in season can be purchased by appointment. The farm gate price will always be more attractive than the retail option.
